Bobby Nato - Senior Pastor
At Anchor Baptist Church, we are blessed to be led by Pastor Bobby Nato—a man whose heart beats for both ministry and everyday people.
Bobby is a bi-vocational pastor who understands the challenges of balancing faith, work, and family. With over two decades in the finance world and a clear calling to ministry, he brings down-to-earth wisdom and heartfelt spiritual guidance to all he does.
He answered God's call to ministry in 2016 and was later ordained, taking on the role of shepherd with humility and joy. Since then, he has served faithfully at Anchor Baptist Church in Wellington, where he teaches God’s Word, prays with and for others, and walks alongside those seeking to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Bobby holds a Master of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from Andersonville Theological Seminary, a journey that deepened his love for Scripture and sharpened his ability to lead with both grace and truth.
Outside the pulpit, Bobby works full-time in the finance sector—bringing excellence, honesty, and servant-hearted leadership to every project. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington, he has contributed to industries ranging from aviation and construction to health care.
But whether he’s preaching on Sunday or working behind the scenes during the week, Bobby is the same—genuine, approachable, and passionate about pointing people to Christ. He believes ministry isn’t confined to church walls and finds joy in mentoring others both in faith and in life.
More than anything, he longs to walk alongside others, sharing the love of Christ and pointing them to the life-changing power of His grace.
Andrew Lebita - Pastor
Born and raised in Australia, Andrew received Jesus as his Saviour on the 31st day of October 2011. After being discipled, he developed a passion for the Great Commission and served in the areas of preaching, teaching, soulwinning and discipleship. It was through faithful church attendance and ministry that he developed his knowledge of the Bible and maturity in the faith. Sensing the Holy Spirit’s prompting for ministry, Andrew surrendered with his wife to the will of God and was ordained a minister of the Gospel in April 2026 and currently ministers alongside with Pastor Nato at Anchor Baptist.
As a bi-vocational pastor, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Construction) and a Post-graduate Certificate in Commerce. After spending a decade in engineering project management, he currently works fulltime for a construction recruitment agency.
Outside ministry and work life, Andrew can be seen spending time with his wife and young children. A fan of learning, Andrew loves reading up on the Word of God and enjoys discovering new things and getting to know people.
When you meet Andrew, you can expect a friendly and down-to-earth individual who loves God. It is only by God’s grace that has led him here. His desire is that others may know Jesus, be saved and then live a transformed life to the glory of God.
